The Yuma Territorial Prison operated for 33 years. It was then occupied by the Yuma Union High School for 4 years. It is now a State Historic Park. The park is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm until May 31, 2013. From June 1 – September 30, the park will be open 9 am to 5 pm, but will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The park will be closed for maintenance and repairs from August 3 – 25.
