My apologies I was thinking Fairway renovations needed. Why do we have 4? centers in Phase 1?

And why do we need a new PAC? How many times a year is it used? Have you seen the little PAC in SCW that doubles as a movie theatre? Who will be performing here? Wayne Newton? Cher? Elton John? C'mon man

LRP did recommend to the BOD to find/develop more walking options. It was in their minutes which also contained couple other recommendations based on the responses from the ASU survey. Check the past minutes from the LRP committee.

That's nice Tom. It was high on the list for the community "wants" as was the cyber cafe since 2013! We are still talking about the cyber cafe 11 years later.

I will say this again, we supposedly had the best on the board, and speaking on behalf of Sun City and look where we are.

    “Committee Reports:
Long Range Planning Committee (LRP); Survey Subcommittee Member, Cheri Marchio gave a PowerPoint presentation titled “Long Range Planning Recommendations” Asu Survey.”

The presentation included four action items derived from the Survey and recommended by the LRP Committee as follows:

    1. Walking path(s): Open, landscaped

dedicated to socializing among members and their guests.
    3. Placement of a PT or FT fitness professional: Responsible for updated/renovated
    fitness areas, equipment and programs/classes.
    4. Upscale dining options: Lake or golf course view preferred.

Investigating the viability and implementation possibilities of these four requests in the near term.”

Goal #2 – LRP / ASU Analysis for Recommendations (Cheri Marchio, Russ Toman, Steve Oaks, Candy Ruggiero) COMPLETED

    • Long Range Planning Committee
    April 9, 2024
    2) LRP/ASU Sub Committee will send the final version of the proposal to the RCSC Board of Directors to be sent to the committee for an email vote to approve. The LRP/ASU Sub Committee was instructed to meet directly with RCSC Management with their findings. A proposal to the Board was not needed at this time.
The LRP/ASU Sub Committee presented a report summarizing the meeting they had with GM Matthew D’Luzansky et al. This meeting finalized the Goal #2 for that Sub Committee.
It was recommended that the Sub Committee name be changed to the “Survey Sub Committee” for future projects in that area. All were in agreement and thanked the Sub Committee members for their hard work on that project.

This is just sad. A lovely community ruined by 10 years of bad board management. Those of us left will pay for the next gen. Those 10 years were ours!!! Now we pay for ours and the next gen. Thanks all.

Assault with deadly weapon 4 doors from me yesterday. Bill I will never say hate like you say I have and did, but I sure am not enamored anymore with SC and am telling everyone I know. Already sent someone to SCW. Maybe being a realtor is in my future? Motto "Anywhere except Sun City AZ."

You goofball 2006 plus board members who screwed us boomers should be ashamed. Threw open the books my butt. This was my retirement you messed with, and now we are paying for your mistakes. We get to pay for the next generation, while my generation gets to watch SC fall apart.

I was really angry when I started to write this, now I am just sad that one person, so desperate in need of notoriety could write on and on so people would just ignore half of the writings out of sheer boredom and just agree to shut the person up!

I agree. However, if the BOD/Mgmt is going to bulldoze through and let it stand, then it needs to be done for safety reasons. But if the data shows the figures don't support 3 in fairly close proximity (Mt. View, Fairway, Oakmont - Grand is a craft club gift from a BOD agenda) then by all means we shouldn't be continuing to throw money out the door . . . but that's right we aren't using good data for decision making yet.

I must admit to not being in agreement. I have a suggestion for the BOD, but have stated it often so I will not repeat the idea. Changed my mind- cost vrs revenue for next 15 years on a 1 - 2 page form. Yes just estimates open to change. Let members know what is planned for their money. How difficult can it be? And yes, I would be happy to help develop this document. Where there is a will, there is a way!

Imagine if you will an RCSC BOD that gives the people what they ask for (cyber cafe, walking path) instead of a $14 million PAC only a few want. Imaging trusting adults to walk a golf course without ruining it. (I have never seen anyone with a shovel or pick axe while walking on Riverview) Imagine just having fun. From one other friend in SCW.....We do walk the course but never asked if it was against any rules. We’ve even turned the cart paths into roller coaster rides at dusk and evenings. Way fun.

Obviously SCW folks are still alive and fun and inventive. We get to walk on concrete and ruin our already aging knees and play shuffleboard.
