RCSC Management Report August 2025

I get that, my issue with the statement is it has been brought up so many times, much like The Lakes Club. If the focus is always on the past, especially when there is nothing that can change it, how does anyone get to a better future? Has the author run out of new things to talk about?

 

One can only smile as i write yet again for the members to attend the plethora of town hall meetings over the next 4 months. And of course that was following three gatherings this summer where we talked about the future.

What an appropriate moment to post a thought from another thread:
“You will continue to suffer if you have an emotional reaction to everything that is said to you. True POWER is sitting back and observing everything with logic. If words control you, then everyone else can control you. Breathe and allow things to pass.”

Amen sister, Amen.

 

The things to talk about are about trying to regain what has been lost. In order to understand what the fight is about, it’s always important to have a frame of reference. Keeping the story at the top of the reader’s attention is essential to understanding what the fight is about.
Like my fight for print media is going to be a struggle to gain attention. But when the entire focus is being directed towards electronic media only, it appears that the BOD has decided to alienate most of the membership. Especially when the choice is YOU TUBE. Not user friendly most of the time.

 

Not an emotional reaction Bill. It gets boring seeing the same old statements on a regular basis. How many times did people tell you on SC chit chat that your posts re SC history were just too much and too often. It was the same with the lakes club and now it's the same with the old GM. If talking about the same things daily float your boat go for it.
