Yeah, talk about shooting yourself in the foot! I thought Walz was the worst person on a ticket in my life. Well, except for Hillary. He didn't strike me as being very smart. Hillary was smart, just corrupt. Of course I had been in Minnesota over the summer and the people I was with thought he had really hurt their state. Heavy taxes so many people had left the state. That was before the fraud in his signature free lunch program was divulged. You are right, Josie, we dodged a bullet there.

Hey speaking about "smart people" and trump hiring only the "best people," how about that Howard Lutnick? His remarks yesterday were especially impactful on the residents living in Sun City. We read often about that large percentage of members who depend on social security as their primary source of income; and how often it doesn't allow them to cover their monthly costs.

So the BILLIONAIRE genius shared this tidbit in an interview regarding social security: "Let's say Social Security didn't send out their checks this month. My mother-in-law, who's 94, she wouldn't call and complain,"
    • "She just wouldn't. She'd think something got messed up, and she'll get it next month. A fraudster always makes the loudest noise, screaming, yelling and complaining,"
So many of these BILLIONAIRE, trump folks (kind of the mainstay of his inner circle), just can't get their head around the challenges of everyday working and retirees.

    Long live the OLIGARCHY eh?

Yeah, the left is notorious for taking a little snippet of an interview and using it to their TDS garbage. BTW TDS is starting to be recognized as a Mental Disease.

Actually, Bill, the Democratic Party has been the one of oligarchy. Read this for another viewpoint of your comment. https://www.azcentral.com/story/opi...ernie-sanders-democrat-oligarchy/82592745007/

Speaking of Oligarch's, how about the chutzpah of Leon showing up at the Pentagon yesterday to sit in on the China war plan. Makes perfect sense as he freely admits he is partial to China and much of his wealth has come from that relationship. The shit hit the fan when newspaper's captured his arrival (or did someone in the Pentagon rat him out?) and the administration had to pretend he was just there for a nothing meeting with the former FOX news guy (gotta love those qualifications eh?).

Odd how so many of you on the right are enamored with DOGE bro's having access to your vitals via the social security records. Thank goodness a judge put a halt to that information being captured for Leon and trump's use somewhere down the road. Imagine if Biden had invited Gorge Soros in to root through that most private of information stored on government data bases?

Funny. Every Leftist BS news source reports what you just said. How about reading the Department of Defense website? Oh never mind, that doesn't push the narrative you want. Does your jaw clench when you hear the YMCA or Proud to be an American songs? You could have TDS and EDS.

Defense Secretary Hosts Elon Musk at Pentagon > U.S. Department of Defense > Defense Department News

As long as we're having this civil and tasteful discussion about trump and his great choices of Oligarchs and Fox News Hosts that he has surrounded himself by, i'm more than a little surprised none of you mentioned his cruel words directed at his constituents. I mean really guys, how much abuse are you going to suffer from him?

It's not like you didn't hear it, he spewed the venom on Fox News just this week on the "Ingram Angle." I didn't hear it and given the station he was saying it on, it stands to reason it was directed at all of you religious Fox viewers (hence, not me). Anyway, here's what he said about our beloved country: '"We've been the fat, dumb, foolish country that allowed everybody to rip us off."

To trump's credit, he found 4 topics he, dare i say, is an expert on: "fat," "dumb," "foolish" and especially "ripping us off."

OK Bill (Dave). I don't have cable so I don't have FOX. As far as dumb, foolish, ripping us off those are your opinions to which you are entitled, however you are in no position to be fat shaming anyone. As we get older generally people gain weight. I have. I saw you go up to speak. at the triarc meeting. Since when did saggy man boobs become fashionable?

    We are not the same.

The Department of Defense. Let's see:
    "www.militarytimes.com › news › your-militaryArticles about Navajo Code Talkers removed in Pentagon’s DEI ...
The Defense Department removed articles about Navajo Code Talkers from its websites amid an ongoing campaign to rid the military of diversity, equity and inclusion programs."
The Military Times is not some leftist rag, I don't think. I think perhaps the DoD relented on this but really too late. Their racist toothpaste was out of the tube.

I read the entire interview, this is no out of context snippet. Read his convoluted discussion about putting SS money in Trump’s Sovereign Wealth Fund. I believe he has no idea what this and what it is used for and I know Trump is friggin clueless on this type of fund. His only knowledge is that Saudi Arabia had one, I want one. Why don’t you just steal the money now and leave the window dressing alone.

No, your TDS is not being recognized as a mental disease. A beanbag spineless jelly fish Congressman from MN introduced a bill saying this but nothing has happened. Still involves that bozo columnist from 40 years ago and his not even been mentioned DSM.

The clown car just keeps getting more full doesn't it Janet? Thanks for the link to the story where one of the co-authors of the bill on TDS played out with an arrest of the republican legislator soliciting what he thought was a 17 year old girl. Oopsie.

I'll save you all clicking on the story:
Trump derangement syndrome bill co-author arrested
One of the co-authors of Bill SF 2589 was arrested Monday, according to a Minnesota Reformer story on the St. Cloud Times' website. State Sen. Justin Eichorn, R-Grand Rapids, was arrested in Bloomington, Minnesota, on suspicion of soliciting a minor for sex.

Lots of juicy follow up out there, but it's all pretty much the same old crap, different day. What the hell happened to the Grand Old Party (GOP) and the conservative values they once stood for?

If he is proven guilty, that is shameful and he should be incarcerated so he doesn't do it again. Nonetheless, I stand by my statement that I see TDS everywhere these days. "Clown show"? I can be critical of things and viewpoints that I don't agree with, but I try not to denigrate or call others names. Oh, there I go again, acting holier than thou.

Bill Clinton, oval office, cigar. Anthony Wiener. Hunter Biden. I won't waste any more time on this. Both parties have scandals going way back. When trying to make a point like this one you should make sure your party is squeaky clean on the subject.

What happened to the Democrat Party that use to be for the working man? They're against the working man and in support of the criminals and illegal aliens!

Wise up! Your beloved Democrat Party left you a long time ago. They don't give a crap about you, they only care about the power of their Party and it's sad you can't see that.

Now we're getting somewhere eh? I've known more than my share of good strong constitutional conservatives. You know, ones committed to family values, the rule of law, smaller government and upholding the constitution (probably where most of you once were). While we often disagreed, i respected their values and their principles.

And then along came trump. He's been a con man his entire life. Long before politics, he proved he had no values, no morals and could give a crap about anyone other than himself. We can go over all of the stuff that caused it, but you'd rather ignore and pretend it didn't happen. He screwed more working men and women and small business owners than imaginable...man of the working class my ass.

And then it all changed, he looked across the political aisle and saw Obama elected and an opening to shift from a democrat to a republican. He attacked Obama with the lies about his birth certificate and you all ate it up. He proved to himself the gullibility of those on the right that if he just kept saying it, you'd all believe it. Truth was captured in the fiction of his repeated lies...they still work to this day.

That cadre of racists that resented the fact this country was evolving and assimilating were just waiting for their savior. Nope, not calling anyone on this site a racist, but even the most ardent trump supporter has to admit the far right crazies are part of his/your coalition. I have no interest in spelling out the incidents that got us to this point, the list is endless and ugly.

What disturbs me the most are the lies and conspiracy theories you revel in, wrap yourselves in. None more so than the 2020 election and the subsequent January 6 assault on our Capital and the officers standing duty. Trump et al can try and rewrite history, but we all watched live and saw what he foisted on our system of government because the donald's ego was crushed because old man Biden had beaten him.

Put whatever label (TDS) you want on how more than half the country feels about trump, i/we know that's what you need to do to pardon the sins of a man without a moral fiber in his body; you know, the guy who told us all he never had to ask God for forgiveness because he had never sinned. How freaking arrogant is that? Don't bother answering, just pretend he never said it.

And to be more than clear, my measuring stick isn't the democrats that hate him, i prefer to look at those former republican's who walked away or were driven away because of their values, their morals and their belief in the constitution. There's millions of them; they believe in the rule of law, backing the blue, smaller government, family values and three co-equal branches of government.

We know trump wanted no part of those serious politicians, they just would get in his way. Think not; look at the past two months and tell me how much the constitution or the rule of law matters? Clearly it doesn't and in his mind it never will. I get it, you all think this is winning, owning the libs is some kind of victory. It's not, our country was founded by and for the people, not a bunch of bloated, wealthy billionaires who want bigger tax breaks so they can have even more of the pie.

As far as the democratic party Tom, i've always been a Humphrey democrat, always will be. His values and beliefs were caught up in civil rights, the poor and the rights of working men and women and farmers. Hence the name the Democratic, Farmer, Labor party (DFL). Nope, not where we are these days, but i'll take them over anyone who tells me what they saw on January 6 was just fine and dandy with them.

So while this has been fun, this walk down memory lane, it will change nothing. You believe what you want, i'll believe what i want. Time will tell and as the events of the weeks, months and years unfold, we'll see who has the capacity to be honest.

    We'll see for sure eh?
