We have all known that many of the charges against Trump were filed because the opposition was trying to cast him in a bad light. No one can call him a felon anymore. One has to be sentenced to be convicted. The sentencing has been postponed indefinitely which means it won't happen.

Additionally special counselor Jack Smith spent $50,000,000 trying to prosecute Trump and now drops the charges. Yes, that is $50 MILLION of tax payers' dollars! That doesn't count the millions Trump spent defending himself. I suppose that Trump will now sue the federal government to be reimbursed so the total will be well over $50 M. Who could blame him? What a colossal waste of taxes!

Surely you are aware that Biden kept most of Trump's tariffs in place and even added a few more.

I expect prices to go up on some commodities due to the tariffs. Already Canada is looking for ways to have a fairer trade relationship with the US. Mexico can add tariffs but it may result in American companies moving their manufacturing jobs back to the US. Look up what John Deere decided to do because of the tariffs imposed.

This is all about saving jobs in America and producing the goods we need in our own country. Think about all of the medications that are made outside of our country. Didn't we learn something from Covid when we couldn't get masks, medical equipment and other things we needed because they were produced overseas?

I'm all for a better balance in our trade negotiations with other countries.
