Interesting comment. I feel great and have an entirely new perspective on life since this summer when i should have died (had it not been for a seat belt). But then i've been filled with gratitude since my sobriety 48 plus years ago. Life has been an absolute blessing and i cherish every day of it. Sun City is that darned good.

Unlike trump who prattled on about becoming a "new man" after the assassination attempt, it lasted for about 30 minutes of his first speech and then he drifted back to his comfort zone...hating everyone who didn't worship at his feet. Not my thing kiddo, false idols are folly (i'll be nice and leave it there). Dang, the new me is positively, well, positive. Thanks for noticing.

A lot of us have felt that type of euphoria. I did, Trump did. Divine intervention that he turned his head at the exact right second. Tell me Bill, were you one of the haters that felt bad that the shooter missed?

I know it's corny, but gratitude is an attitude, you should embrace it. I just know if you did you would find far more Joy in life than you appear to be exhibiting.

I asked because from reading your stuff and the way you talk about Trump I would have bet yes. I have heard liberals say it before. So your party says too bad he missed and that's fine, I ask you and it's an ugly comment. You know you thought it. You would not be able to express your level of hate towards the man, especially after an assassination attempt, if it wasn't just a wee bit true. BTW you telling me I made an ugly comment is surely the pot calling the kettle black.

 

Nope, no desire to see the man dead. Not in my DNA. My fervent wish is he just retire to Mara lago and win dozens more club championships. Hell, here's a shocker, i don't even care if he does time for his crime(s). Unfortunately, he may well be facing others who see it differently.
