Ie 8

    I keep getting a popup asking me to get IE8.
    Although I say no, it still keeps popping up.
    How can I get rid of it permanently?

    What version of IE are you using? It's in the Help menu, (About). IMO later versions of IE are always better because MS improves the security.

    Curious why you don't want IE8? I'm guessing you have Windows XP since IE8 is the final updated browser for IE on Windows XP. So if you do update you won't need to do another browser update. (In order to have IE9 or 10 you need to have Windows 7 as your operating system).
