My intent was never to defend the budget deficit but rather question the relationship between the board and the general manager. What integral information was missed when items occurring within the scope of duties performed by the GM was not being communicated between the board and the GM?
The good news is the collection of proxies moves forward with an anticipated positive outcome. I truly hope the board views the presented requests with an objective eye as to what the outcome should be in relation to the membership.
