Dang gang, you guys are the best. Hopefully others will follow suit, i know there are new folks trying to sign in for the first time.
Captcha can be implemented in many ways. I often find the one where you must pick all the pictures with an object, to be more difficult for the user. For example pick all the pictures with a bicycle... If you don't get exactly the correct photos from the bunch, you fail. Some of those thumbnail photos can be hard to read. Some methods are more obvious - Add these numbers and enter the result. The numbers can be images, with different sizes and fonts. It requires intelligence to recognize the image as a number (often tilted or different color or blurred). Humans can tell. Computers have a very difficult time. It's hard to determine if the user is not seeing what needs to be done, or if there is a bug. The problem listed above should be easy to find and fix by the administrator of this web site. I can't find out who the administrator is, or if that individual (or team) is even watching. The boat is sinking and the Captain is nowhere to be found. The crew doesn't do anything until the boat is almost sunk or has sunk. If you have a problem, email: TalkOfSunCity.com@DomainsByProxy.com DomainsByProxy.com is a company owned by GoDaddy that allows the owner of a domain (TalkOfSunCity.com) to remain private. The phone numbers go to GoDaddy. GoDaddy can't help you other than providec you the anonymous email address. This address goes to the Owner of TalkOfSunCity.com. There is no guaranteed response or support. When this site went down a few weeks ago, I searched for the owner and found all this out. Domains are registered and the WHOIS function goes to master index and gives a lot of information. With DomainsByProxy the true information is hidden (like an executive session -- ha ha). I sent email. I told them the symptoms of the problem (detailed error messages). I didn't get a response for several days. The response was essentially - Thanks for reporting the problem. It's fixed. Well it wasn't fixed. ... Lesson for TalkOfSunCity.com: Problem - email: TalkOfSunCity.com@DomainsByProxy.com You may get help. You may not. Another note: email addresses are NOT case Sensitive. TalkOfSunCity.com@DomainsByProxy.com is the same as talkofsuncity.com@domainsbyproxy.com The capitalization is for readability only. All letters are automatically changed to lowercase by the email program. Passwords ARE case sensitive.
