Today, Cinco de Mayo, I am having a celebration at my house. The menu is Margaritas, appetizers are cacedes (sp?), main dish is taco salad, and dessert is apple pie burritos. They are an experiment!
Boy, was I way off in spelling appetizer. They are quesadillas! At the moment, my apple pie burritos are in the oven.
I thought this was interesting: Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico's Independence Day—the most important national patriotic holiday in Mexico—which is celebrated on September 16. A mis-understanding on my part. Where are the best places to celebrate Cinco De Mayo in Sun City?
