Sun Health Foundation Resale Store closed its doors after 40 years in Sun City and moved to Sun City West. Pennywise Thrift Store also closed after 32 years. The third is Coco's Bakery and Restaurant which closed in August as well. It is so sad to see more stores leaving Sun City. SCW is thriving with grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, car washes, clothing stores, a large Goodwill and so much more. I can't help but wonder why the difference. I was told once it was due to the internet and no one goes shopping any more. I don't get that, they have internet in SCW. That part of town is growing by leaps and bounds.
Word on another site is the 2 rec center cafe's are failing as well. People complaining. Service is bad, food is bad.
