Welcome to Sun City and Talk of Sun City. It is definitely an amazing place to live. The people are very friendly. I rarely find a need to leave the boundaries of SC.
Welcome soon Ruthie! We have enjoyed every minute of our move to Sun City almost 2 years ago now. We used to drive right past it until we realized how peaceful we felt after visiting here. Reminds me so much of my childhood in southern CA. You just can't find another place like this one.
I see you are from Southern CA. I was born and raised in Long Beach. Lots of fun in the sun on the beach and in the mountains. Arizona reminds me of CA minus the ocean, but with lots of lakes. Lake Pleasant is not too far from Sun City and a lovely place where you can rent a variety of boats, etc.
Thanks for all of the welcomes. We should be back there in about 2 weeks. Leaving Oregon in a week, a quick stop for a high school reunion in Sacramento, a visit in So Cal and then "home" to Sun City.
