Yesterday at the board meeting, the general managers report included a financial update the Preservation and Improvement Fund collected $828,700 in May for a total collected for the year of $3,593,700. That puts us on track to raise some 8 million dollars for the year (if sales stay strong). Of course the downside is, not one dime of the money was decided on how to be spent by anyone other than the board and management staff. And sadly, the lions share of the PIF has been and will be spent on the golf courses and out buildings for golf.
A big chunk of the PIF funds taken in this year will be from the sales of the newly constructed homes in the development near Sun City Posse headquarters.
The BOD golf report had an interesting figure that may also be really good news. Were you aware that for $44 you could purchase a one month unlimited golf play if you golf after 5:00????? I can't find this on the RCSC website and was surprised to hear it reported. This would be a great opportunity for those learning to golf or people that are employed with only evenings free.
Spot on aggie. This has been a long standing practice in the summer months to sell the after 55 pass. It's a great time to play and you can't beat the price. The one drawback is you often have to play through the sprinklers that come on at varying hours of the pm.
