It will be interesting to watch. The first thing they better do is clean up the weeds and make that entrance way more attractive.
I agree about the sad state of the property right now. We drove by yesterday and you can't even use your imagination to create a desirable location to buy a home. They had better get going on some landscaping....soon!!
Having a new development within the Sun City walls is exciting and I'm sure getting to choose the design and upgrades will encourage sales. There is a negative factor: vehicle access to the new homes is difficult as I don't think Sunland will allow regular traffic flow through their property which is understandable.
Where would the new road go in? They'd have to buy up a few houses and get MCDOT to do quite a project if it is going to connect to either Hutton or Meade to get out to Del Webb.
Drove through late yesterday afternoon and I see they have started knocking down the walls on the side the Posse building sits on. It never made sense to me what the first developers had done, so to see them get started with some demolition seemed like a logical first step. I look for things to move along quickly now they have begun the process. Pretty clear they'll start with a handful of models and floor plans and then sell lots as buyers step forward.
