    According to the census of 2000, there were 38,309 people, 23,490 households, and 12,520 families residing in the Sun City census designated place.

    The population density was 2,639.5 people per square mile.

    There were 27,731 housing units at an average density of 1,910.7 per square mile.

    yes I also read this part: 49.5% were married couples living together, 3.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 46.7% were nonfamilies. What about the male householder with no wife present? I thought that was strange. Are they saying no men live alone? Can't be right.

    There are lots of men who live alone including my roofmate.
