Sun City AZ has excellent medical facilities/doctors. There are several places that offer insurance at a good price. Usually, you have to be enrolled in Medicare Part B. I have BlueCross Blue Shield Arizona (formerly Medisun) for $14 per month. No, I don't work for them! Many doctors are available in all fields. Needless to say, they are very familiar with age related problems. Of course, Obama Care might change things. Drats!
I forgot to mention that there is a large hospital located right in SC. Recently it was voted one of the best hospitals in the country. In addition to doctors, there are many dentists. A program called Sunshine Services has all kinds of medical equipment available for residents of SC. Wheelchairs, walkers, etc. You can even get cribs and beds. There is no fee for this service.
Banner Boswell Hospital makes it easy re: parking too. They have golf cart shuttles to take you to or from your car--makes it feel you are at a resort as the drivers wear perky pastel shirts and always have a smile to spare.
Banner could use some more parking....when I was going to physical therapy there after rotator cuff surgery, there were many days that it was almost impossible to find a parking place. I learned when to schedule appointments to avoid the parking crush.
