The Del Webb Sun Cities museum is hosting two special sessions honoring one of the most remarkable ladies in Sun City history. Tanya Griffith has portrayed countless famous female characters over the years and has thrilled audiences with her incredible costumes and lifelike re-enactments. The museum is normally open Monday, Wednesday and Friday's from 1 pm to 4 pm.during Oct through April. Because they have been drawing large crowds of late, they have et aside two additional time slots for Tanya to meet with visitors. The Museum will be open this week on Feb 23, and Feb 25 from 1 to 4 pm. Tanya will be there to meet and greet visitors and the museum will be open for tours as well. A handful of her costumes will be on display and you cannot begin to imagine how cool some of her pieces are. Hope you can stop be the museum for this once in a lifetime event.
Stopped by and saw Tanya yesterday at the museum, what a very special lady. They had a nice steady stream of folks come through and will repeat it this Thursday from 1 to 4 pm. Catch her if you can.
