Call me a pain in the backside, but i always like to pick the brain of those who announce they are visiting and actually follow through. I heard from a reliable source you visited the Del Webb Museum and were filled with enthusiasm about being in Sun City.

Clearly the weather could have been more accommodating, but i am curious to hear about what you saw and experienced. So Julianna, what say about your visit?

    Hi Bill,
Our tour guide was awesome so neat to hear from someone whose grandparents lived in that very home.
This was actually my second visit. We closed on our home November 1st long distance and visited it the middle of November for a quick 3 days. Our December visit was longer 12 days and with my parents who will be living in our home and my sister and Brother in law who actually looked at a couple of open houses while they were there.
It's funny that you asked for my opinion as I was going to post a note asking if folks would be interested in my impressions. Good and Not so Good.
Obviously good outweighs bad however are the not so good things that could be changed???? Perhaps more on that later... Overall super excited to move to Sun City when it's time ❤️ (I just hope it doesn't change too much by the time I get there.)

Hey Julianna, please do list those things you didn't find so attractive. Too often people get caught up in the excitement and the newness and are afraid to say anything negative. As you may have noted on here, we aren't all just community cheerleaders because we all simply want Sun City to get better, not stagnate and get worse.

BTW, Julianna's "tour guide" is in fact the granddaughter of the original inhabitants of what is now the Del Webb Sun Cities Museum. She now lives here and is both a guide at the museum and on their board. How cool is that?

I, too, would like to hear the bad as well as the good. There are a few things that come to mind regarding getting RCSC privilege cards or monthly passes that could have been a problem. Hopefully your real estate agent was familiar with the RCSC requirements and fees so there were no surprises.

Transportation within the area is also limited unless you have a vehicle. We do have Uber, Lyft, Veyo and services through Northwest Valley Bus/Handicap Transport. Please let us know your issues so they can be resolved if possible.

It's also pretty new, but so many grocery stores and restaurants now deliver direct to homes in Sun City.
