Not me either. The location just isn't the best.
I do wonder if Sunland will let people drive thru
or if you will have to wander thru the residential streets.

I'll most certainly go look at them when they contact me but the reality is we probably won't move from the "compound." Way too much time, money and sweat equity getting it just the way we wanted it.

I am staying where I am at. I love my 1450 square foot condo. It is perfect for me and my husband.

I told my husband our only move will be to assisted living.

We looked at the floor plans, not what we want.
Besides, newer is not always better and I suspect the homes will be jammed in there pretty tight.

The lots will be smaller for the KHov homes, but for some, that won't matter. Over the years we've lost buyers to other communities because first and foremost they wanted new. The biggest thing KHov can do is acknowledge the outdoor space is less, but than develop a truly great use of that outdoor space.

Most developers worry first about the inside of the home and often treat the outside in a more minimal fashion. By creating well designed outside spaces that work in concert with a nicely appointed interior, than can overcome the smaller lot size. It's one of the reasons I watch daily their progress, the initial developers looked to have no game plan when it came to using the space they had wisely.

To KHov's credit, the first thing they did was rip down those walls and are now working towards what looks like a more cohesive layout. Well done patio's integrated into the flow of the open floor plans and private enclosed veranda's off bedrooms not only enhance livable space, but makes those tighter outside yards feel bigger and better utilized.

BTW, there's no block work being done yet, it appears grading is upper most in their minds at this point. Getting that right is essential to selling these homes. That's no surprise because KHov appears to understand the senior marketplace and what they want.

The name "Four Seasons at the Manor" is a little off-putting to me. I get marketing but why not just something like New Neighborhood-Great Town?
Whoops, maybe this post is just more proof my long hair doesn't cover my red neck.

    Inconvenient location.
    Houses too close together.
And I wonder what the prices will be

I also thought "Four Seasons at the Manor" was a bit much. What the heck is at the manor anyway? Will the be walking around in ball gowns to take out the trash? Makes me laugh.

Now, now, don't be catty. I like 4 Season's at the Manor; sounds classy and upscale. Almost too nice to be in the original Sun City eh?

Sounds like it's trying to sound upscale and classy. Doesn't fit. That's not catty, now, now.

Let's be honest here...it's way better than Four Season's in the Cemetery.

You guys are way sick...thank goodness most of us live in Sun City where medical help is so near by.

KHov will have the last laugh as these units blow out the door. If memory serves me, lot size isn't a big deal for a good share of the attached housing units in SC. Other than the Gemini Twins, most of them have limited back yard and front yard spaces. Which is in fact a blessing for those who want more freedom and less hassles.

That is just way too funny, "Four Seasons at the Cemetery", sounds like a neighborhood that folks are just dying to get into.
Sorry could not resist. My son-in-law just lost his dad days ago, pretty neat guy and I know he would think this was funny.
