Just opened the SunViews for the month of January and this piece was on page 2:
The RCSC Board of Directors has made the decision that as of January 2017, both the monthly Board meetings and the Board/Member Exchanges will be video recorded and posted on the Sun City AZ You Tube site.

Many in the community had raised concerns that members were unable to attend
these meetings for various reasons and that use of this method of communication
would enable those interested to stay informed. Anyone attending these meetings
will be informed that by attending they are agreeing that they could be recorded.

The minutes will remain as the permanent corporate record of the monthly Board
meeting. Video recordings of the Board meetings will maintain on the You Tube site
    for 120 days.

The Board/Member Exchanges are not a matter of corporate record, and only the last
Board/Member Exchange will be available on You Tube, taking the old previous one
off when the new one is posted.

Kudos, who knows, maybe they do listen eh?

We've certainly been vocal enough about it here.

It sure has been an uphill struggle! Where did you get the January SunViews? I don't think I got one in my newspaper this month and I've only seen the December issue at the centers.

You know I absolutely get nauseated each time I see the phrase "The Original Fun City!". No wonder we no longer are the "City of Volunteers". Oh well....

I know I can get the SunViews online, but has the delivery by either the Daily NewSun or the Independent been discontinued?

It delivered in the Independent. You will need to call the Independent if you are not getting it. 623-972-6101.

Thanks Ida. For some reason I thought it was now inserted into the Daily NewSun. We've had problems with our delivery of the Independent and didn't get one last week. I did call and report it.

It was being delivered by the Daily News Sun until the Independent bought it out.
