Does anyone have real estate data on the average number of "days on the market" to sell a Sun City home? I've done Bing searches and haven't been able to find that information. Usually realtors have monthly reports with that information.
Average days on the market R is an interesting equation R; because the bigger issue is how are they priced. Sales have exploded again this month as the turn over is fascinating to watch. Homes priced right sell in a week or two. Homes priced wrong can sit there for months/years. I started digging when I read your question and found some wonderful information regarding homes sold on these two sites: Zillow's has a list of the 500 last homes sold and lots of data with it. Trulia is much the same. What's cool is you can click on the individual property and really get a better look at what was done to it, its selling history and lots of other stuff.
Thanks for info. I've seen the Zillow and Trulia stuff. I was looking for average days for entire development rather than individual houses.
Great info E and exactly what I've been saying. Homes sales in Sun City are still off the charts strong. The only criteria for moving a home quickly is pricing it right. If the number is spot on, the home is gone in a week or less. What's really intriguing is the question; how long will it take for developers to see the value in all of the land under these antiquated shopping centers and start aggressively buying them up and plowing them under? I suspect the CBS Morning Show may be the impetus to kick start that kind of thinking.
