Did you know the Sun City Fire District, which recently expanded, is one of the busiest of the 150 fire districts in Arizona? I have thought of a reason but will wait until some of you give a reason. What do you think?
A huge population of seniors over 55 and well up to their 90s is the primary reason for the huge call for response. I'm guessing that nearly 75% of the response calls are for "Fall Injury" which used to be coded as a "Lift Assist". We are very fortunate to live in a community where health care is so close at hand and our emergency services rated so highly!
