Rockhound museum

    The Sun City Rockhound and Mineral Museum is on the main floor at Sundial Rec Center.

    The Museum has a variety of rocks, minerals, fossils, and artifacts.
    There is a room that you go into, lights are turned off, and flouoresent (sp?) rocks glow in the dark.

    It is very interesting and I always take visitors there. Kids especially like it.

    They have books about rocks and minerals.
    I purchased them for my grand kids.
    A nice xmas or bday gift.
