    Roadwork Ahead!
99th Avenue, Tarrytown Avenue to Coggins Drive
Sun City, AZ — Starting Monday, August 26, 2013, the Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) contractor will be performing roadway maintenance and rehabilitation activities on 99th Avenue between Tarrytown Avenue and Coggins Drive. Work will include milling (grinding) the asphalt pavement followed by the installation of a "roadway quieting" surface treatment using a "rubberized" asphalt overlay paving process which uses recycled pulverized tires from waste management and landfill sites throughout the southwest. Project completion is scheduled for mid-September 2013.

    Work Zone Traffic Restrictions
Traffic lane restrictions are anticipated. During construction, access to and from driveways and side streets will be impeded for brief periods to facilitate milling and paving activities. Please allow yourself extra time when driving through the construction areas, as there may be traffic delays. Access will be maintained for residents, businesses and emergency vehicles at all times.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

    Construction Work Hours
Work hours will be 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, weather permitting. Some evening and weekend work may be required.

    Safety First
Please obey the traffic signs and flagmen when driving through the area and do not move any barricades. Barricades are placed for your safety and the safety of others.
