I was in SC this week and saw a Greater Roadrunner in my yard...a surprising site. And such a big bird. I also saw several Rosy-faced lovebirds. My neighbor told me there's a large lovebird flock now in SC. The underside is very colorful when flying overhead. Love the birds.
Do you record your bird siting on ebird.org? It doesn't take long to do, just do it whenever you have a few minutes. I wish more people recorded from Sun City so I'd know more of the species that we actually have, not just the potential ones. Not too many of SC residents on it but there are a few.
