    I rang the bell at the library last wednesday and got a prize.
    It was for a free book.

    I'm surprised that the Ring The Bell ceremony is on the 3rd according to the email blast. The Sun Views paper has a full page at the back which gives no date but only says it's the annual Independence Day Celebration. Wouldn't most people assume that it would be held on July 4th??? There will be people showing up on Saturday for the free events.

    Strange indeed A. I thought it was on Saturday and they moved it.

    It is my understanding that the reason it was moved to Friday was because if it was on a weekend the workers would have to be paid time & a half which would increase the cost of event.
    Seems logical to me.
