Thanks for posting the link eyesopen, people should watch the video packages. That said, you should be more interested in the candidate forums. They will be the true measure of the candidates knowledge and ability to respond. I have tried to help candidates in these videos for years and my message is always the same; be you, be real and be sincere. The problem of course is when reading from a script, it sounds like you are reading from a script. The other challenge is that incumbents and retreads always have the advantage of being there and having done that. They should come across as better versed and more knowledgeable. Sadly, that doesn't necessarily make it true. More often than not, their biggest asset was they simply voted with the majority who were following the direction of whoever the general manager was at the time. For me, it's their greatest liability. I find it absolutely disingenuous when a candidate touts how they have "listened" to the members and then refused to take an action because the general manager told them not vote for what members have been asking for. Most of us learned long ago, bull shit is bull shit, no matter how you package it. Judge previous board members based on what they do, not on what they say.
