This whole conversation started when I found out the assessment fee was changed from per person to per roof in 2003. I have every single thread saved as a Word document. NEVER once did I say I wanted RCSC to pay my fee. I said the opposite many times. My issue was and has been the change. Am I struggling financially? Yes. I was just fine until 2021. Now inflation is at a 40 year high, Interest rates were at an all time low of 2.6% in December 2020. Interest rates are 7% today. CPI has increased. https://www.bls.gov/opub/ted/2024/consumer-price-index-2023-in-review.htm

All this being said, again, I never wanted money from RCSC. It morphed from my not liking the rooftop fee vs per person fee, which started on FB and as I said before I gave up because it was futile. Those who know me know I save every damn thing I post because people misinterpret, falsify or just plain lie about it.

No, I do not care for Sun City and wish in 2015 I would have had the foresight to move. It is now financially impossible. The RCSC Board has been a joke for years. If it wasn't we would not be 20mil in the hole. The HOA is a joke. I have had to deal with them only 3 times thank God! Once when my mother passed and I got to meet with a John Wayne wannabe who called me little missy and it was painfully obvious he wanted a pair of chaps and a six shooter. Second time was when I had a neighbor issue with noise. No help what so ever so I had to keep doors shut or listen to this all day: .

And the third and most egregious situation was when I used a contractor who I found was wanted for drugging and raping a girl in another state. He was wanted by FBI but State FBI's don't think it's a big enough issue to spend the money to pursue. I sent all info to the hoa including the rape charge with his photo. This was my response:

RE: Sun City HOA - Complaint form

    Hello Mrs. –

As part of our Business Partner Referral Program we ask the new members to provide three to five references of clients for whom they have done work. We do not require personal references, nor do we do a personal background check on the employees of the companies. All of the references we contacted gave glowing reviews for their work, said they were very professional and that they would recommend them. We contacted both men and women and all are Sun City residents.

We also check the Arizona Register of Contractors and does not have any complaints on file, either open or closed.

We sympathize with your concern, but we know of no actions or incidences that have occurred, which would warrant our terminating their Business Partner status. Our program is a referral service rather than a “recommendation.” We pass on the names and phone numbers to those that inquire, with the assurance that we have made sure their licenses are current and that people who they have worked for would recommend them. We also make sure we keep an up to date certificate of insurance for each of our businesses that requires them, in instances such as , that they are bonded and insured.

I am sending this to our General Manager and to , as well.

    Sincerely,
    Marketing Manager
