Join SCHOA To Defeat Multiple Rate Increases Proposed by APS The Sun City Home Owners Association has been an advocate for our community since 1963 and continues to work to help keep utility rates low and protect our community’s safety and quality of life. ❗️We face another APS rate increase that we are opposing and asking our community to join in and help send the message that Sun City opposes this rate increase. ➡️ The proposal from APS (Arizona Corporation Commission Docket No. E-01345A-25-0105) • A 14.58 % rate increase to electric bills, which averages out to $120 a year in additional cost. • An increase in the basic service charge from $10.86 – $13.74 up to $15 per month, adding an additional $15-$50 in annual cost. • With both increases you can expect your APS bill to increase between $135 to $170 annually. • Approval of a formula rate which would allow for automatic annual increases to customer bills based on the formula to be created and approved in the case. ✍️ Sign the petition and learn how you can comment at two public meetings or write a letter.
