Paint disposal

Former owners left cans of paint.
After 8 years, it has now dried up.
Where can I dispose of it?

Somewhere I read that since it has dried up, it can go in regular trash.

I am doing some serious house cleaning.

So far 3 bags of clothes that will go to Eve's Place.

Last week I took many items to St. Vincent de Paul on Bell Road.
Like why did I need 2 dozen wine glasses?

 

I have put dried paint cans in my garbage can and they took them.

 

Did you put them in bags?

 

I called Parks and was told they take paint cans.
The paint has to be dried up and the lid loose so pickup people can check.*
