Last week I took my visiting daughter & grandsons (13 & 16) paddle boating at Lakeview. Fun. A highlight of their visit was a trip to Bell Library. I gave each of the boys $5 for purchases at Books Around the Corner. We also went to the Train Club at Fairway and miniature golf at Lakeview. Unfortunately, the Mineral Club at Sun Dial was closed. It's always interesting. Hope you like these ideas. The SC Visitor Center is now in their remodeled area across the courtyard from Bell library. Take a look.
The last time my family visited I took them to the Posse. The boys were given a badge. I don't know anything about Citizen of Year. Thanks for kind thoughts. Yesterday I worked at the Visitor Center. Everyone commented on how nice the remodel is. BTW. Someone had donated a considerable amount of money for the remodel. SCRC did not pay for it! I think that info was in the newspaper. There was even enough $ leftover to do other stuff.
