Some of you may have attended the various input meetings for the Northwest Valley Local Transit Systems Study. Fascinating visions, but we could always use more concerned citizens to as Star Trek's Picard would say, "Make it so." Study was presented at the latest stakeholders mtg. on August 15 at Benevilla. I will try to get a link so you can see the plans. As Spock would say, "Fascinating." Don't know why I'm so Star Treky today...gotta go. Beam me up Scotty.

The final project report including the Executive Summary has been posted to the project website (see "Resource Library"). The link is listed below.

Trekkie or not, until we get transporters, we all need to get around via more traditional forms of transportation. Therefore, here is the link to the Northwest Valley Local Transit Systems Study final project report including the Executive Summary at the project website (see "Resource Library"). The link is listed below.

It takes awhile to go through the material, but the charts and maps are really interesting. Now this report can be used to get some action on these recommendations. Citizen involvement will be crucial or it will just be another report. Representatives will need to hear from constituents. It is time the West Valley gets the attention it deserves. As a Sun City West resident has said, "We're not underserved, we are unserved."
