I love to talk, so this is a great site for me. I've been in SC, AZ for eight years and never regretted the move one day. As a recently retired church secretary, I still have to get involved in clubs and community. Have found it difficult to "break into" friendship groups. Everyone is very club-based or church-based. I am a writer and will be offering a writer's group again this fall at a local church. I also love the summers in AZ -- not crazy about the above 110 temps, but like the quiet mode -- less traffic, etc., and swimming or water walking is the best in the desert.
