I have no control over it, yet i feel at least in a small way, part of the reason behind it. The mess the troll is making of the site is quite fascinating. My initial reaction was it was a spammer or hacker, but the sky has cleared and the obvious shines through. I seldom talk about or mention politics here. Some of my dear friends and posters are quite different in their beliefs from mine. Not a problem, we simply disagree. That said, we've all watched one sad truth explode before our vary eyes the past 8 years. Grievance politics works; hatred politics works; poor-me politics is also attractive to some. Not me. I learned long ago i am responsible for my own actions. Looking for others to blame is a weakness and for those who buy into it, they too are weak (in my humble opinion). Hence my apologies. the attacks on this site (TOSC) are simply an effort to destroy a site many of us like to share opinions and ideas. This past week, has turned out several attempts directed at me. Someone was dumb enough to send an email to the museum claiming the Facebook page i help with as an administrator was stealing their photos and profiting from them. Then they encouraged another to do the same. By the way, they used a fake name, much like on this site. Of course, nothing could be further from the truth and the comments sent were quickly and loudly refuted. Not that it mattered to the sender. She was obviously pleased she could disrupt the lives of others. For me, i could care less. My role, my goal has always been to keep Sun City a great place to live. Not everyone feels that way. I've always understood that and have over the past 20 years watched people move from here because they didn't care for it. What i have not watched before was anyone vindictive, childish and so immature they act as if they were 5 years old. Tantrums are simply unbecoming on people our age. Again, my apologies to those of you who read these pages on a regular basis. We known in time it will work out; one way or another.
Point made and taken as a HUGE yes. Since posting, the troll has posted a half a dozen new threads to move it down the list. Thanks for confirmation.
One of the interesting characteristic differences was one i noted the other day; the greatest generation was well into ownership, accountability and responsibility. It was exactly why Sun City succeeded beyond the companies wildest imagination. Those moving here loved it and refused to let it fail. Boomers are more the me, me me generation who simply want what they want. Obviously that's not true of all of them as residents have been and still are volunteering often. On the other hand, those who hate it here and resent everything the community stands for and represents is terrifying to them. When they live behind shuttered doors and partake in nothing, they get angry and lash out. Mind you there's a huge contingent group who are incapable of participating and those aren't the ones i am talking about. It's those who are angry at life in general and attacking others is where they find their solace. The real question becomes: Is it? Is it where they find their true joy? Hopefully not. That would be tragic.

I have mentioned Josie on here, but i have no idea if that is even your real name. Beyond that who knows or cares what your last name is or even might be. Another 20 threads posted since i responded to this one. Truly a sick individual. Hopefully whomever it is gets some serious help.
By the way, i haven't been on Next Door in a long time. And, honestly once you "left" Facebook Sun City Chat Arizona and the the Sun City Advocates, i never gave you another thought.
