The Sun City Model Railroad Display is located at Fairway Rec Center. I take visitors here. Kids especially like it. Click HERE for information.
That display is the perfect rainy day activity for visiting grandkids....especially when you don't feel like traveling very far.
I was hoping when they renovated Fairway, the railroad display would take center stage with glass all around and a lot more room to grow. It's pretty close in there now and too bad of the limited hours. It could have been a real "ambassador" for Sun City as a destination, but it's still great to see as is the one in SCW but at least there even when it's not open, you can still see through the windows.
