On my two page ballot there is exactly one Republican running. She has a long shot to win, (my theory is as the Washington State Republican Chairwoman she couldn't get any one else to run, so she stepped up). .... all other races are Dems running unopposed or running against other Dems. My Dem Congressman is running against another Dem with the same last name. This election is certain to go my way but I don't like the trend. Quite a contrast to what is happening in AZ.
That pretty much sums up the state of politics in this country; red states, blue states and a handful of purple ones. The day may well come when we become two separate countries; one where the normal people reside and one called Trumpville. Hell what could be more exciting than living in a country founded under alternative facts, non stop lies and fear mongering of the highest order. Of course once all of his supporters are living under his thumb, who's left to vilify?
