Goal #1 – Master Plan – RCSC member JF made a presentation outlining some guidelines for a Master Plan of all the facilities of RCSC. (Note: A Master Plan for the Lakeview Center remodeling would be a separate document.) J mentioned that several people participated in the suggestions presented. The advantage of an RCSC Master Plan would provide consistency, transparency and a marketing plan for potential future homeowners. The Plan would look at the whole picture not the specific allocation of funds for individual projects. A Table of Contents was shown from the Wickenburg community plan. The intent should show a process and not necessarily the “fluff” for advertising. Professional expertise from an experienced consultant would be needed. Information to be included should consider: o Clear timelines for implementation and completion of major future projects. o Data Analysis parameters such as our seasonal membership demographics. o Resources and expertise to tap in to outside the committee members. o Comparisons to our “competition” communities in the area. o Expert analysis of both urban and people demographics. Where the funds would come from was a concern. The 2025 budget is already approved, and the Operating Budget remains strained. The Board would have to produce a solution to find the funds so an outside vendor could be recommended and retained for the Master Plan project to be ready to present to the Board by the end of October 2025. After the LRP Committee decides on the scope and draft outline of the Master Plan, a subcommittee could be formed.
