Maricopa County Assessor’s Office is coming to Sun City

  1. Join Sun City CAN at the Recreation Centers of Sun City – Fairway Recreation Center for an in-person presentation on 2026 property tax relief programs for qualifying residents, including senior-related exemptions and how to apply.

    Presentation: 9:10–10:10 AM
    Q&A: 10:10–10:25 AM
    Optional one-on-one guidance: 10:30–11:45 AM (walk-through help as needed)

    What to bring: Any documents you may need for your exemption application (the Assessor’s team can advise on what applies).
    ℹ️ Please note: The Assessor’s Office will provide guidance, but will not accept completed applications or supporting documents on-site. Residents are responsible for submitting forms/documents by mail, email, or online.

    Seating is limited, so please arrive early for check-in. We look forward to seeing you there!

    Sun City Community Assistance Network
    (CAN)

    The Sun City Community Assistance Network (CAN) is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity. Its mission is to connect people with resources that can enhance their standard of living through the following programs:

    • Benefits assistance, low-income tax preparation, property tax refunds, filing amended tax returns, house painting, widow and widower tax breaks, fire department lock boxes/utility assistance.

    • CAN’s primary source of funding is the annual donation it receives from residents, service clubs and businesses.

    • There is no charge to clients for any services provided by CAN.

    • Most CAN programs are designed for low-income residents.

    The organization is overseen by a volunteer board of directors that meets monthly from September through May.
