Every time I ask someone about a single site to access a calendar of events, I get the same answer......"we have been trying to get something like that for years." Example.....I recently received several emails concerning lawn bowling at various locations plus other emails on tournaments and another including a list of all tournaments....big picture. Wouldn't it be nice to get up each day and access a calendar, filter it by items of interest and get those results and depend on their accuracy of location and times. Trying to keep up with emails related to various clubs can be difficult and often confusing to some. Just this morning it happened at Lakeview for lawn bowling. I arrived at 8:30 to find to groups that had arrived at 7:30. A better tool is needed and don't know if this site is the correct spot or not...any comments?
Great question Jack115 and one I know we continue to wrestle with across Sun City. I know both the Visitor Center and the RCSC have attempted to keep accurate calendars but the problem has always been there are so many things going on it is near on impossible. It is a suggestion I will pursue with Joelyn who does the RCSC website and see if there is a better way to do it.
