How does AZ SB 1350 passage affect Sun City?

    When I researched this bill it seems that the intent was to prohibit cities, towns etc. from restricting short term rentals such as Air BnB type rentals. This bill also gives cities/municipalities the power to collect sales tax on short term rentals. There are different legal firms that have stated that HOAs and COAs continue to have the power to elect not to have rentals in their associations. This will not affect Sun City HOAs or COAs unless Maricopa County tries to override bylaws of individual HOA/COAs.
