We'll be arriving in SC this Thursday for the bus tour. For the next 3 days we'll be visiting SC, SCW and SCG while staying out at Festival. I notice the weather will be at or above 110 for our visit. When we move to AZ in the first half of 2016 we will become full-time residents. It appears our 10 day visit will give us a real taste of summer!

In my mind it's a 'perfect' time to visit. We're so excited about our upcoming journey and visit to your home town!:eagerness:

If you are at Sun Dial Rec Center about 11-12 on Thursday, you just might see me at the pool excercise class.
Last Thursday the bus people were looking at the pool at that time and I waved.

You will definitely get a taste of summer.
I am not a Snowbird, I am a Sunbird (ever hear year rounders called that?).

I and others will be anxious to hear what you think about all the communities.

Spot on Rusco; summer is the best time to visit. Everyone loves coming here when the snow is up to your elbows and it's 12 degrees below zero. The real question is; how do you handle 110 degrees above? As you are sweating your backside off, just remember it's a dry heat.

Just mentioning the comparisons you are doing brings back memories of our hunting for the "right one." It was always easy to fall in love with the glamor and glitz of the newer and nicer communities. They always had a higher shine to them. In the end, we found one that matched our laid back, down to earth lifestyle. There's no better way to compare them than to look up close and personal.

Have fun eh; there's almost nothing better than looking for Nirvana...well maybe one thing...finding it and then living it.

Make sure the tour bus lets you get out to walk around in the Fairway Center. You can't fathom what it has to offer from a drive-by. Also make sure the bus driver keeps the bus running with the A/C on while you are out of it on a walkaround!!

What pool area at Fairway is shaded?
Is it just where the chairs are?
Or, is part of the pool walking shaded? And if so, when?
I tried going to Lakeview pool but was getting a tan. Not good!
So I am back at Sundial - still no ladies showers.

Most of the Fairway walking pool is shaded with sun screens and the outside whirlpool also has overhead sun screens. There is a great deal of shaded seating area around the pool. A great place for both sun worshipers and those who prefer to avoid it!
