Today, July 6, 2013. is National Fried Chicken Day. Do you have a special recipe for fried chicken? I make pretty good chicken nuggets.
My favorite chicken - - of course - - fried chicken --the entire chick -- cut up ---using a flour mix with egg mixture - - dip in each twice...and fry in hot oil..... But my most favorite chicken - - fired using same type batters...Fried Chicken Livers....I would make these years ago for my family - - my sons would eat nearly the two entire cartons of fried liver before dinner was even on the table... I do not prepare chicken this way now -- - that was years ago - -I try to avoid fried food...but the memories were certainly tasty !
