❓WHY SHOULD YOU SHOULD CARE❓ Many of you may recall when this property “almost” became a behavioral health facility in our community. Residents became iinvolved successfully keeping that from happening in their neighborhood.

Maybe we could use an affordable place for our residents to go before hospice if they get to that point??

Also don't forget the place was flooded and no one knows the extent of the damage. Also to re-do into offices would almost mean a total tear down. Then there is the parking issue.

 

I hope this isn't considered hijacking a post, but I didn't know if members knew that the small building on the corner of 107th and W. Peoria, formerly a funeral home, is also up for sale OR LEASE! I hope that perhaps the Board and Management may have had some discussions about how leasing this building might be considered for two reasons: 1.) Not have to worry that another type of unwanted business moves into Sun City like the last one, and 2.) Lakeview will need to be remodeled soon and all of the offices are going to need to be placed somewhere.
