The first candidates forum was last night(Nov 11) and I thought it went pretty well. All 8 of them were there and another 75 people were in attendance. There were lots of good questions and nearly as many solid answers. Of course the problem is once on the board it is a collective process and one's individual opinion's have little sway. I truly hope the next one (next Tuesday afternoon at the Fairway rec center) has twice the number of people there. This election is truly a tipping point in Sun City's future. We have enormous potential to start focusing more on the future and those who will be buying here. Long term things will change in ways that will be challenging and it is imperative we understand those changes to better manage what will be happening. Kudos to all those who are running and thanks for taking the risk to be a part of the process of self-governance.
