I am a huge fan of the old time marketing magazine's DEVCO put out in the 1960's and 70's. They were brilliant in romanticizing Sun City as the kind of community people from around the country would want to live. They were that darned good. Last year the RCSC board voted to produce a yearbook, something akin to what helped sell Sun City during their boom years. It became a labor of love for me and with Joelyn Higgins (she does the SunViews along with other things) help we were able to put together a pretty slick full color 24 page magazine. I imagine the magazine will also be available at Wednesday February 5th New Member Orientation at Sundial Rec Center. Great place to get information about what's available to you in Sun City whether you have been here for 2 months or 2 years! There are two sessions: 9-11:00 and 7-9:00. Haven't seen much publicity about this important event so hope posting it here will alert a few more people. Great job on the magazine in such a short time frame. Getting it distributed through the newspaper delivery was very effective.
Spot on Aggie. Tomorrow's new resident orientation will be an eye opener for anyone just moving here and valuable to so many who get caught in the vacuum of staying close to home and not venturing out across the whole of Sun City.
