Just checking if I heard the same things that others heard from the exchange meeting. In a nutshell every board member is completely consumed with "get er done" projects. The project updates seem to be as follows: Open Positions Board - An individual was selected after interviewing all that applied Golf - The field of candidates is rapidly being narrowed down GM - VPN to help find recruiting firm to help with the process (money well spent in my view) Golf Quail Run - Work appears to be on schedule and budget Golf economics - SK/JB leading team to help figure out how to break even on golf and will discuss with Golf community first. Bylaws Board\Volunteers split into multiple teams to make recommendations on how to address issues raised. 2026 Budget Work has started Finance 101 TB working with KM to improve reporting format so mere mortals can understand (my words) Master Plan RFP has been drafted - Four firms expressed interest before RFP circulated (I may not be accurate) MountainView VPN gave extensive update (see slides on you tube) and issued plea for members to stop contacting TriArc directly. Members ideas can be submitted to BOD by email. VPN getting utilization data for 2023 to compare year over year and provide to TriArc. After all input is processed TriArc to present to members what fits and what we can afford. Still time to submit interest in being part of member's at large input. Court resurfacing and Kool decking is done or in process. I am sure I am missing some important items. It will be amazing if this all comes together.

Seems to me the Board-Member Exchanges have become an information dump controlled by the Board. 27 minutes was utilized for this activity. Maybe we need to go back to two regular Board Meetings and drop the exchanges? I also disliked the idea presented by Director Kise to use a sledgehammer to harm people when breaking ground on MV renovation. I’m not sure he was just joking.
He said it jokingly in response to Chris N's remarks about everyone bringing shovels to the MV renovation.
Thanks Bill. Yes the “exchanges” about a groundbreaking ceremony seemed inappropriate. To me, there seemed to be an implication about people being hurt, and then a comment about the sledgehammer.
