The Sun City Rec Center often has a bus trip to the Desert Botanical Gardens. In addition to the plants, the Butterfly Garden is very interesting. Below is a picture I took when I went there and works of glass scultor Chihuly were displayed.
Chihuly is having an exhibit there starting in Nov I'm hoping I can visit during that time and see it. I've always wanted to see one of his exhibits. I've only seen pieces. http://dbg.org/events-exhibitions/chihuly
