Today, September 5, 2013, is National Cheese Pizza Day. The most popular cheeses used in the preparation of pizza are Mozzarella, Provolone, Cheddar and Parmesan. Emmental, Romano and Ricotta are often used as toppings, and processed pizza cheeses manufactured specifically for pizza are used often in mass production environments. Pizza is one of my favorite foods. I like veggie pizza the best, followed by sausage & pepperoni. What is your favorite pizza & pizza place? How about frozen pizzas?
