Yesterday a neighbor and I went to the new casino - Desert Diamond. It's worth a visit but I don't plan to return. Very crowded and not at all fancy like the other casinos. Maybe when it is completed it will be better. Right now it just looks like a warehouse. And, No. I did not win. There seemed to be a lot of seniors and people who were probably spending their welfare checks.
We're waiting for the restaurants and full casino complex, too. Haven't been to any of the other Phoenix area casinos in our 20 years so don't know how the rest would compare.
