We're getting very close to October 6th, 12:00 Noon. That's when candidates for the Board of Directors are required to turn in there 100 signatures. There are currently 4 positions open. Some candidates are still collecting signatures. If you want to have the most available options to select from, please make sure you sign the Candidates petition. Anita Borski is currently running and still in need of signatures. If you know Anita and desire having the most options, please help Anita collect her signatures. That goes for every candidate running. This is YOUR community and if you want the right to bitch about it, then voting affords you that right! And make sure you attend the Candidate Forums to get to know these candidates. Forums will be held: October 23rd, 2:00-4:00* at Sundial October 25th, 6:00-8:00* at Sundial * Come 30 minutes prior to the Forums and get to meet the candidates on a personal basis.
Who are the known candidates? I think someone mentioned five… Thanks for filling in the blanks! 1. Jeff Darbut 2. Anita Borski 3. Jim Rough?? 4. 5.
Understand the RCSC not releasing information. Until those packets are submitted, documents reviewed and petition signers verified, they aren’t official candidates! Not every “potential” candidate formally announces their decision to run in August!
But isn't that what campaigning is all about, knowing who's is running? That's like waiting until the presidential primaries have been completed until you learn who the candidate is!!!
Thanks for the info FYI. I believe my $3500 PIF payment and annual assessment fee I pay to RCSC affords me the right to complain/call out situations in Sun City I believe are being handled incorrectly. Have never bought into the “complain only if you voted”. Runs counter to my idea of “Freedom of Speech”. Just my opinion.
Attending meetings, committee work, etc. are other options to try to change things. Voting is not the only way.
But committees can only make recommendations to the Board. It's who you VOTE for as Directors who can actually make the changes! I guess I will respectfully disagree!
No problem here with you disagreeing. So you don’t think I have a right to complain since I paid a $3500 PIF fee and an annual assessment? “Pay to complain” in another words. Or “a member in good standing” according to RCSC .
